To tell you about ‘me’ is to include my husband, family, and our Brittany dogs.  We’re retired and enjoy raising Brittanys for upland bird hunters. Our family is grown with children of our own (we have 7 grandchildren.)  In recent years we became active in regards to hunting laws, dog ownership and breeding restrictions, and more. We belong to several dog associations and clubs, serving as officers in several. I am a representative on the Maine Animal Welfare Advisory Council for municipal kennel owners, and was appointed by Governor Baldacci.  I work closely with other like minded groups across the country.  On a personal level, we enjoy this season of our life, sharing most of it with our loveable canine crew here in Acton, Maine while keeping an eye on what is going on in Augusta regarding the issues that would effect hunting and sporting dog owners in Maine.  I do love to write and  have been encouraged by many to take it to the next level.  I can say in all honesty that in Maine – Life is Good and also the way Life Should Be!
